American Psycho Serial Killer: Cinema or Reality? Among all the episodes of serial killers that media, almost weekly, points out, recently one of them about a 31 year old woman, a mother of two children who changed into a ferocious serial killer, drew people’s  attention. Joanna Dennehy, in about few minutes, 14 to be precise, murdered three men and two more were wounded. In the past of this woman the investigators didn’t find anything that could justify her criminal behaviour. Therefore media starts inquiring into what causes her longing to kill. Dr Lundrigan, a criminologist and teacher at Anglia Ruskin University, tried to explain: “Joanna longs to reach fame at all costs”.
