Man adventure on the planet earth starts with the Original Sin, that is with the evolution from the anthropomorphic monkey to Homo erectus[1],[2] through the stages of Australopithecus africanus[3] and Homo habilis[4].
A demon, a gene, a small fragment of Dna which appeared accidentally in the hominid genetic heritage, allowed this evolution.
We don’t know the mechanism with which the demon-gene[5] favoured this process: maybe it was through the development of a particular aptitude for the vocal expression and so for the communication among similar fellows(see note 4); perhaps it was the influence of an external factor, the well known apple[6] of the Gensis, according to which on eating it our ancestors’ encephalon developed more than the one of any other animal and they acquired the knowledge of good and evil.
In any case the demon-gene was the one who induced our ancestors to feed on that fruit and so it was “carrier of light“, that is of consciousness anf knowledge. Until then our ancestors had lived in an innocent unconsciousness in the” Earthly Paradise “, would feed, without any labour, on fruits and vegetation of the trees and generate their kids in a relative easy way. Like other animals they couldn’t do but obey the laws of Nature-God.
After committing the Original Sin man evolves into homo sapiens and begins an adventure that, progressively, puts him away from the destiny of all the other living beings.
Thanks to his greatly developed encephalon his free fore legs turn into hands, instruments endowed with an extraordinary skill to make weapons, work tools, furs to defend themselves from cold.
After his evolution he forms gangs and can get the better on predators which, bigger and stronger, would feed on him and terrorize him.
With his new intellective abilities and his extraordinary manual skill he becomes a hunter and can get that kind of food, a great quantity of proteins his encephalon needs and changes from a vegetarian into an omnivore.
Thanks to these qualities a numerical growth that will get to its climax in the last two centuries starts for man. The Earthly Paradise, the African equatorial forests he comes from, isn’t sufficient to him and he is compelled to leave it, since he “has been sent away“[7] because of the high price to be paid for this evolution.
Till that moment all that he would do had been only to collect food and flee from predators and he would spend most of his time in a carefree innocent unconsciousness.
“Later” he will have to work hard to get food and with the coming of agriculture and the birth of the first urban conglomerations he’ll have to work hard every day, and while previously work and rest were imposed by Nature laws, now rest time, Sunday: the Day of God, will have to be created and also a God the responsability of this Creation to be ascribed to.
The consciousness they got caused a lot of doubts and anguishes and besides realizing they were naked, Adam and Eve, the symbols of our ancestors, realize they are the only ones to face the burden of knowledge.
In order to make this burden more endurable our ancestors invent religions and together with them a God or some Gods they can project their anguishes onto and derive the power to have”Divine Laws“respected by man who had created them[8].
For Eve, the female symbol of the new species, other problems rise: the pelvis asynclitism, a consequence of the erect position, and the great dimensions of the encephalon and so of the child’s skull, make her delivery difficult and painful
In the meanwhile[9], when the mortal intraspecific aggression appears in the human species, man himself becomes a predator, the most terrible one among the most feared predators of the past.
In spite of this, the human species keeps on growing and multiplying over the centuries till the present day when phenomenons appear and become more frequent, phenomenons that are apparently inexplicable for an animal that wanted to get rid of every Natural Law with the Original Sin and progressively, above all in the last centuries, of the“Divine Laws”he himself had created.
The appearance of always new viral epidemics, the rapid growth of the human intraspecific aggressiveness and the epidemic of suicides can’t apparently be explained if they are studied from an antropocentric point of view.
From this point of view, how could we explain the fact that Man who has become God, that is getting rid of every Natural and (or) Divine Law, can kill people like himself, his own children and himself as well and be subjected powerless to epidemics of new Viruses just like in the past he was decimated by plague?
In order to understand we need to step back: with a hypothesis, just like we did, that it was a gene to cause the evolutive process of our ancestors from Austrolopithecus africanus to Homo erectus[10], what advantage did that gene obtain from this evolution?
[1] And finally to the present Homo sapiens sapiens.
[2] The erectus appeared about one million and a half years ago and learnt how to light the fire, to mix clayey earth with water, but above all he started wandering all over the earth. Therefore the erectus was the one who left the Earthly Paradise.
[3] TheAustralopithecus, the first stage of this evolution, was only a hominid. Four million years pass between the Australopithecus and the (habilis)-erectus.
[4] Homo habilis could make use of rudimentary tools he himself had made with stone and build refuges and hiding-places with the materials nature offered. Besides he had a brain which was 50% bigger than the one of Australopithecuses and with Broca’s cerebral area (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broca%27s_area Broca’s area), the one supervising the language, so developed as to have shaped, in an evident way, the skulls that had belonged to the samples we have now. He could utter comprehensible sounds from this small part of the cerebral organ. So he was the one who“invented the language” and maybe it’s this the Bibble means when it says:”and the word was made flesh“.
[5] In the Genesis they tell about a Serpent but they have always intended the Devil or Demon with this.
[6] Allow me not to say more about the subject here now.
[7] Recent discoveries of hominids’ skulls, which took place at Dmanisi in Georgia and appeared on the review Science in July 2002, should make us hypothesize the brain of our ancestors who left Africa to venture to Europe and Asia, were much smaller than it has been thought till now (600 cc against 850-1000 of the erectus). All this doesn’t detract anything from our theory of the demon-gene because, according to the two reserchers who discovered the new skulls, if it wasn’t the increase of the cerebral mass to induce our ancestors to leave Africa, the impulse to move towards new lands had been written in our Dna since the origins.
[8] Anything man can think up or do, the burden of the fundamental obscurity of life, of that animal origin and the mystery we come from, remains immutable.
[9] With Cain (καινω = kill – in greek ) and Abele.
[10] And subsequently Homo sapiens sapiens.
